50th issue extravaganza, with special guest Deathstroke!

Well, for those of you not keeping score at home, this next pick will be the fiftieth book reviewed here since I started the Random Longbox last summer. Seeing as how the official by-laws of the comic book code of conduct specifically state that all fiftieth issues shall be commemorated with the appropriate bells and whistles, I better make something special with this pick.

With that in mind, we're going to break our completely random format for the second pick in a row and do something similar to what we did when picked our twenty fifth issue to review. I'm going to gather up all of the issue #50's that I have in my collection and we'll have the Randomizer pick from one of those. When we did the twenty fifth issue extravaganza, we had 97 different issues to choose from. For the fiftieth, we're down slightly to 60 different issues.

That should still be plenty random enough to still have some fun. I better get these special picks in while I can, because once I start getting upwards of 700 reviews, it's only going to be reviews of Superman and Batman books.

So what book takes the honors for the fiftieth completely random review? Take it away Randomizer...

...and that book is Deathstroke #50 from August 1995, published by DC Comics!

So not only is this the fourth DC book in a row, it's the second that features a villain in the title role. That means all of you Eclipso: Darkness Within fans should be on the edge of your seats for the next pick, eh?

See you in a day or two for the review.
